Prayer Meeting
Prayer meetings are central to the life of the church, a time when we listen to what God has to say to us. It's a special time of spiritual communion with our heavenly Father. We also put our petitions before God a time to ask as well as to listen. It's also a time of thanksgiving as we praise him for the great answers to prayer we have seen through the week.
As well as the main prayer meeting others meet in small groups for prayer through the week.
Our main Church prayer meeting is on Thursdays at 7:30pm.
Due to the popularity of the "Texting over WhatsApp" prayer meeting that developed over the lock down period we are going to continue the format for the time being.
The current format has allowed us to move away from giving the Lord a shopping list and instead to seek the Lord for His will and desires in our lives. It has become a time of sharing what the Lord is saying, either a scripture, the words of a song or just a personal challenge.
